This was recorded on the last voyage of the year for the Queen Mary 2 in Saint John NB. This is the first whistle as she is leaving port.

Queen Mary 2 sounds off
A Royal Rendevous: The Queen Mary 2 sounds off to her namesake, using one of the qm's origianl brass whistles, on permanent loan from Cunard. Due to her size and weight, this is as close as the QM2 could get without running aground. This is the exact same reason why she was backed into the main shipping channel in the Los Angeles Pier to pick up her first So Cal Passengers. (Cruise ships normaly dock next to the QM.)
