Leaving NY harbor Queen Mary 2: Stateroom Tour
Queen Mary 2 Stateroom 10084, (port side on Deck 10, Category P2, 381 sq. ft.) of this Cunard ship leaving New York harbor from Brooklyn Red Hook, under the Verrazano Narrows bridge,and out to sea to cross the Atlantic ocean to Southampton, England, UK. Stateroom is for Princess Grill dining room guests. The trip is over 3000 miles, taking 7 days and 6 nights. Master for this voyage: Commodore Bernard Warner. Entertainment director: Paul O'Loughlin. Movie star Jane Russell is a passenger on board. Over 2500 passengers and 1300 crew members are on board this October crossing. Voyage M932. Maiden voyage of RMS QM2, built in France, was 2004. This journey takes us near the site where the White Star Liner RMS Titanic sank south of Cape Race (about 1000 miles and two days from NY harbor). Queen Mary 2 leaving SF Golden Gate Bridge
The Queen Mary 2 squeaks under the Golden Gate Bridge after spending the previous night in San Francisco. This was her first visit to San Francisco, part of an around-the-world voyage. Queen Mary is the largest ocean liner in existence, and one of the largest passenger ships.
